    Summary:

    The Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting with the planning, execution, and management of commercial construction projects. This includes developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking budgets, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project schedules

    Track project budgets and expenses

    Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers

    Oversee the day-to-day activities of the project team

    Ensure that all work is completed according to the project schedule, budget, and quality standards

    Manage project risks and issues

    Communicate project status to the Project Manager and other stakeholders

    Prepare and maintain project documentation

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

    2+ years of experience in commercial construction

    Strong project management and organizational skills

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Preferred Qualifications:

    LEED certification

    Experience with commercial construction software such as Primavera P6 or Procore

    Experience with building information modeling (BIM)
