    People Operations Manager | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    EWI is searching for a People Operations Manager who has excellent judgment and coaching skills and a passion to help others. You will serve as the leader of the day-to-day HR operations team, overseeing employee relations, onboarding and offboarding, HR processes, and the employee handbook. You will prioritize employee engagement and satisfaction while promoting EWI's cultural tenants.

    People Operations Manager | KEY RESONSIBILITIES:

    • Serve as a trusted advisor with employees and leadership across all aspects of human resources operations.
    • Lead a small team focused on HR operations and employee relations.
    • Analyze trends, KPI metrics in partnership with the HR team to provide solutions, programs, and actions.
    • Act as a coach of employee decisions and serve as a champion to promote EWI's cultural values.
    • Work closely with the Career Development team and the Employee Benefits team to support efforts including Learning and Development initiatives, annual performance reviews, open enrollment, and benefit utilization.
    • Collaborate between the business and the 'builders' in HR to support programs that positively impact the business.
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements related to day-to-day management of employees across different states/regions.
    • Provide and execute on day-to-day performance management (e.g., coaching, counseling, improving working relationships, career development, disciplinary actions, terminations).
    • Serve as a resource in developing, administering, and maintaining HR policies/procedures.
    • Handle the leave of absence policies for their respective offices.
    • Continue to build out the Business Partner model, placing a focus on customer service, acting with a sense of urgency, and demonstrating availability for support.

    People Operations Manager | COMPETENCIES:

    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and can interface with all levels within the company.
    • General knowledge of HRIS systems.
    • Works with a bias to action and has a curious nature.
    • Maintains maturity and confidentiality.
    • Capable of acting as an independent decision maker and leader, but also willing to delve into the business deep enough to execute on work.

    People Operations Manager | PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelors Degree preferred
    • Professional experience outside of HR preferred
