    Service Manager

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Recruit, hire, motivate, and manage high quality staff and work ethic.
    • Monitor service and field departments performance with KPIs including revenue, profitability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
    • Manage and monitor safety protocols and compliance for shop and field service.
    • Manage and communicate company protocols, policies, and procedures and ensure that they are being implemented.
    • Manage and improve work order system.
    • Improve and develop communication strategies to assist in increasing productivity.
    • Communicate with customers, follow up on work orders, and take initiative in mitigating issues.
    • Develop existing customer relationships and seek out new customers for business growth.
    • Develop and grow Off Highway and PowerGen field departments and improve the integration into the branch operation.
    • Develop training plans and ensure all qualifications and certifications are in place and valid.
    • Coordinate and understand multiple business partners and the needs and requirements to stay up to date and certified to collaborate with them.
    • Supervise 22 subordinates with the following titles: Shop Supervisor, Shop Foreman, Field Service Co-ordinator, Field Service Technician, Shop Technician.

    Position Requirements:

    • The qualified candidate must have at least 3 years (36 months) of experience in a supervisor or management position or closely related occupation.
    • The qualified candidate must also have at least 3 years (36 months) of experience with all of the following: (a) recruiting, hiring, and managing staff; (b) ensuring regulatory and required compliance is met; (c) developing existing customer relationships; (d) monitoring and reporting multiple KPIs; (e) and monitoring health and safety compliance.
    • All experience may be gained concurrently.
