    The Company

    Our client is a global supplier of military hardware and software integrating turret weapon solutions, system integration and precision motion control for ground defense platforms.

    From concept phase to prototype builds and ground testing, they support each mission as scientific, technical and operational facilitators.

    With a high demand of our client's products both with US Military and globally, they are positioned for growth in the new era of multiple weapons platform.

    Their team of seasoned system, mechanical and electrical engineers are dedicated to serve needs of their growing customers.
    The Job
    Our client is looking for a

    Senior Systems Engineer

    to work on their integrated weapon systems products.
    Functions
    Provide systems engineering support for the design, development, integration, test, and verification of highly complex electro-mechanical systems.
    Interface with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to generate component and subsystem specifications.
    Define hardware and software interfaces between subsystems.
    Develop, test, analyze, and document turret fire control algorithms.
    Build linear and nonlinear dynamic models and simulations to evaluate system performance.
    Provide technical leadership and guidance for development teams.
    Support lab and field testing
    Generate technical documentation (plans, reports)
    Qualifications
    BS with an emphasis in Control Systems and Signal Processing
    5 to 10 years industry experience
    Classical and modern control systems design knowledge
    Signal processing and data analysis knowledge
    Hands-on experience working with the hardware and software aspects of electro-mechanical systems
    MATLAB/Simulink knowledge
    Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
    Strong attention to detail
    High level of motivation and willingness to learn
    Strong work ethic
    Ability to access US export-controlled information
    Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance
    Preferred Skills
    MS with an emphasis in Control Systems and Signal Processing
    Turret fire control systems design, integration, and test experience
    Strong mathematical background
    Active DoD Security Clearance
    Security Clearance
    Please be aware this position requires eligibility to obtain a DoD security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

    In addition, applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to government security investigation(s) and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
