We're on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Motors Controls Engineer to spearhead groundbreaking developments in Wayne County As a key member of our team, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the next generation of electric machines, on-board chargers, and DCDC converters.

    Responsibilities:
    **As a Senior Motors Controls Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind the technical leadership in PEMD Controls, overseeing the delivery of cutting-edge client projects


    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Pioneering the technical development of Control Software for Power Electronics, E-Machines, and Drives
    • Providing inspirational leadership to empower team members in delivering innovative control solutions
    • Spearheading requirements specification, algorithm development, implementation, calibration, and validation
    • Conducting rigorous testing of control software through ModelinLoop, HardwareinLoop, and physical testing on dyno and invehicle
    • Collaborating closely with the wider PEMD engineering team, lending expertise to power electronic, thermal, electromagnetic, and mechanical aspects
    • Engaging directly with clients to address technical challenges and ensure project success
    * *Required Qualifications & Experience:**We're seeking a visionary individual with a strong engineering background and a proven track record of delivering outstanding projects in control or related disciplines.


    Mandatory:

    • Degree in Engineering,
    Control/Electrical/Electronics,

    or similar field

    • Proficiency in modelbased development languages, particularly Matlab-Simulink
    • Indepth understanding of motor control theory and practice
    • Experience in developing control systems for power electronics
    • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership to engineering project teams
    • Excellent communication skills in English, essential for regular client interactions

    Desirable:

    • Familiarity with Infineon AURIX family of microcontrollers
    • Proficiency in C programming
    • Experience with AUTOSAR
    • Knowledge of functional safety standards such as ISO26262
