    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Performs a variety of household activities, errands, personal care, maintenance and transportation services for clients according to Agency guidelines and directions.# Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy#and objectives, as well as#Health System initiatives.

    EDUCATION/TRAINING:
    Completion of agency approved education program required


    LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

    Current State driver#s license and proof of current auto liability insurance.# Must have a driving record that allows for the Health System insurance carrier to cover the incumbent.


    EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    Ability to understand oral and written instructions.# Ability to effectively and respectfully interact with all levels of staff and the public within the organization and community.# Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Performs a variety of housekeeping, laundry, home management, errands, personal care, animal maintenance transportation, and maintenance and lawn care services for clients,#in a caring and empathetic manner, following established policies and complying with safety regulations and established time frames.# Maintains confidentiality of position-acquired information.

    Plans and prepares meals from standardized menus following established procedures. Reports any problems or incidents to Service Coordinator in a timely fashion in accordance with Agency policies. Cleans equipment used in the care of the client following established Agency standards. Reminds clients to administer medications as prescribed. Documents all activities and services performed in client#s home according to established procedures. Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with all health care team members and customers in accordance with Agency standards.

    Performs all aspects of job in an environment that optimizes client, customer, and environmental safety and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and compliance efforts.
