- Reads test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.
- Sets up devices using hand tools or automatic test methods.
- Documents test results.
- Maintain logs and records indicating if there is a malfunction.
- May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement.
- Testing and calibrating instruments.
- Performs go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.

- 5 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires intermediate level experience in simple repairs or component replacement.
- Must be able to proficiently communicate both verbally and in writing. -Must be able to proficiently add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Must have experience and demonstrate proficiency with electronic equipment (Oscilloscope's and Muti-Meter)
- Working knowledge of established drawings and experience in soldering, wire wrapping and cable harnessing.
- Working knowledge/experience of BOM's, schematics, engineering drawings.
- Must be able to proficiently utilize standard hand tools such as but not limited to screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and crimpers.
