    Key Responsibilities:

    • Firestop Systems Installation: Install approved firestop, smoke-stop systems designed to restore the rating to fire/smoke assemblies to compliant construction.
    • Firestop Installation and Repair: Inspect and repair fire/smoke barriers per NFPA/IBC/UL requirements.
    • Quality Firestop Application: Assess rated barriers and apply firestop systems in hospitals and commercial buildings.

    Requirements and Preferred Experience:

    • Firestop Inspection, Repair, and Installation: 1+ year of experience in firestop inspection, repair, and installation.
    • Commercial Drywall Repair and Installation: Experience in commercial drywall repair and installation.
    • Fire Caulking Experience: Fire caulking experience is required.
    • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Work Environment: Work in hospitals and commercial settings, above ceiling grid, in and around dust.
    • Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • Lifting and Moving: Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds occasionally.
