    Make an impactful difference, create lifelong memories and connections while leading girls under the summer sky. Join the Girl Scouts Day Camp Staff

    Your summer will look like this:
    Deliver educational activities and age-appropriate programs to campers in the morning and afternoon extended care program.

    Provide high quality childcare in the mornings before camp begins and in the afternoons after camp ends

    Deliver and implement program activities including team building games and arts and crafts, ensuring adherence to all policies, procedures, and safety standards

    Collect and maintain extended care program attendance and other records

    Setup and maintain clean and safe program areas

    Maintain supplies, equipment, and materials inventory list; submit requests to replenish program supplies or equipment, as needed

    Establish and maintain positive working relationships and communication with campers, parents, volunteers, and staff

    Coordinate communication between parents, camp staff, volunteers, and camp directors as questions and issues arise

    Assist with the efficient operation of camp, including assisting in other areas or programs when needed. Take photos of campers and staff, ad directed by Day Camp Director

    Provide program feedback, recommendations, and evaluation of program to assist in program efficiency and effectiveness

    Perform other duties, as assigned

    Work Schedule (split shift)
    Scheduled shift: 7 am or 7:15 am until 8:30 am or 8:45 am,


    AND RETURN
    2:45 pm - 6:15/6:30 pm.

    Here is what it takes:
    Be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate

    Flexible schedule with the ability to work morning and afternoon schedules.

    Previous experience working in a similar role or youth-oriented program; knowledge or experience with Girl Scout programming a plus

    Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or able to obtain certification before the first day of work

    Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team setting with diverse persons; ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships

    Ability to work independently, but also take direction

    Valid drivers' license, proof of insurance and access to reliable transportation. Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.
