    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic position requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic charting proficiency.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in an outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
    • Treat a range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions including ankle sprains, post-op surgeries, osteoarthritis, and spinal conditions
    • Shift schedule is Monday and Wednesday 8:30am-7:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday 7:00am-12:00pm, and Friday 7:00am-4:30pm
    • No call, float, or weekend shifts required
    • Epic EMR is used and prior Epic charting experience is required
    • Unit orientation provided by clinic manager
    • Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and implementing patient care and therapeutic interventions
    • Focus on education regarding body mechanics, identifying environmental barriers, and safe discharge planning
    • Responsibilities include treating conditions such as DDD, DJD, frozen shoulder, hip and knee injuries, and total joint replacements
    • Preferred skills include experience with orthopedics, concussion management, myofascial release, dry needling, and modalities like TENS, ultrasound, and Graston techniques
    • Local travelers within 50 miles will be considered at a reduced rate
    • Travelers are not eligible if previously employed at any Solution Health facility
    • Oriented to the clinic by a manager upon start
    • CPR certification preferred
    • First-time travelers may be considered based on experience

    Requirements

    • Current New Hampshire state PT license required if applicable
    • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
    • Minimum of 1 year of recent outpatient clinical experience
    • Experience with home exercise programs, patient and family education, and various manual therapy techniques
    • Ability to perform pain assessment, vital signs monitoring, evaluations, reassessments, and development of short-term goals
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • References are required for consideration
    • Only AHA or Red Cross certifications are accepted
