We are searching for a versatile and motivated Data Analyst / Designer to join our Business Intelligence team at Gatekeeper Systems. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming complex data into visually appealing and actionable reports.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS; but not limited to:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and understand reporting needs.
• Develop and design interactive and intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using industry-leading BI tools.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and cleansing to ensure accuracy and reliability of the information presented.
• Connect various data sources to be easily utilized within reporting & visualization environments
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization and business growth.
• Translate data insights into compelling visual stories that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with the latest trends in data visualization, design, and business intelligence to drive innovation in reporting practices.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Ongoing administrative management of customer reporting and reporting services

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and extract insights from complex data sets.
• Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, data modeling, and statistical concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights effectively to various stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for creating visually engaging and user-centric designs.
• Strong understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data querying for report creation

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Design, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 or more years of experience within related position
• Proven experience in data visualization, using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.
• Experience in coding or scripting (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
• Previous experience with ETL processes and data warehousing is advantageous.
• Experience with BigQuery, Postgres is a big plus
• Portfolio showcasing previous data visualization and design work is highly desirable.
