    Title: AWS Data Engineer

    Location : Columbus, OH OR Scottsdale, AZ

    Onsite 5 days a week

    Work hours: 8 am EST to 5 PM EST

    Responsibilities:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer-CDS with a strong background in AWS Python and ETL tools particularly Informatica to join our team. With 12 to 16 years of experience the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance domain aiming to leverage technology to drive efficiencies and innovations in our services.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    · Data Engineer

    · Tech skills AWS services Redshift Snowflake Oracle Python SQL PL/SQL UNIX DevOps tools Informatica PC IICS

    · Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for both streaming and batch requirements and build new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity

    · Analyze end to end data product requirements and existing business processes to lead in the design development and implementation of data products

    · Produce data building blocks data models and data flows for varying client demands such as dimensional data standard and ad hoc reporting data feeds and dashboard reporting

    · Translates business data stories into a technical story breakdown structure and work estimate for a schedule or sprint

    · Strong database development and production support experience in a UNIX/Linux-based Oracle environment

    · Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL

    · Data modeling experience using Erwin

    · Good communications skills

    · Experience in a Scrum/Agile environment

    · Extensive experience with Cloud technology (AWS preferable) and infrastructure including security and access management

    · Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

    The annual salary for this position is between $[125k – $140k] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
