Circulating Nurse - Registered Nurse

A Circulating Nurse is a critical member of the surgical team, responsible for ensuring a smooth patient flow and delivering exceptional care during the intra-operative period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and document high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process.
• Assess patients' physiological and emotional needs, developing personalized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
• Maintain strict adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards to ensure quality care and patient safety.
• Monitor compliance with scrub standards, policies, and procedures to prevent errors and maintain a sterile environment.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve optimal patient outcomes and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Valid and active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are highly desirable.
