- Lead, inspire, and grow a software development team of embedded and robotics engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, assist the team in feature development, and become a functional expert in tractor autonomy.
- Work with Program & Product to provide capacity planning and aligned feature roadmap.
- Align multidisciplinary teams to manage technical dependencies and build relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline
- 8 years of relevant experience with 4 years leading SW teams working on complex projects in robotics or related field
- A leader who has experience and demonstrated success in leading and building high-caliber, results-focused teams with diverse technical strengths and fostering an inclusive team culture.
- Experience in managing work in the areas of embedded systems, system software, and robotics.
- Expertise in modern C++ and Python; experience in distributed systems, TCP/IP, Linux networking stack, and embedded Linux.
- Experience with ROS2 / RTI DDS
- Experience with Agile software development techniques and fast prototype iterations
- Solid understanding of the software development process across the entire lifecycle
- Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and systems thinking.
- Proven ability to take ownership, plan, and execute, even in the presence of uncertainty.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic start-up environment; ability to "roll up your sleeves" and lead by example, when needed.
- Advanced degree in CS or related technical areas; senior candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in embedded camera-based autonomy stacks and safety frameworks
- Experience with NVIDIA Jetson stack, GPUs, CUDA.
- Familiar with modern automation and delivery tools like Jenkins and docker
- Experience developing GPU-enabled solutions
- Salary range between $215,000 to $287,500 based on experience, qualifications benefits chosen, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
