    Description

    Cordia Resources client is currently seeking a Marketing and Business Development Associate to join their team. This position will play an integral in the organization and will support business development and marketing and will be involved in everything from overseeing organization of the CRM system, data management, event management to being hands on in special projects. Ideal candidates will be comfortable local to the DMV area and comfortable working in office in MD.

    Ideal candidates will come with a background in finance, private equity, or investment banking and have strong data analytic skills.

    Location: In office (DMV candidates only)

    Salary: The role is flexible depending on experience and is open to candidates' mid-senior level

    Job Responsibilities

    • Actively monitor private equity market activity for relevant investment opportunities.
    • Manage the tracking of deal origination and other marketing related activity in the organizations CRM system
    • Design and implement weekly, monthly, and quarterly business development reporting and goals
    • Support team members by prioritizing and arranging business development calls and marketing meetings
    • Research and track potential deal sources and coordinate marketing outreach efforts
    • Develop marketing collateral (pitch decks, press releases, website updates, LinkedIn posts, etc.)
    • Contribute to the planning and execution of the firm's annual investor meeting and team offsite meeting
    • Assist with the firm's corporate responsibility efforts (e.g., coordinating volunteer events)

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree from a college or university and a strong GPA
    • Experience with CRM platforms (DealCloud preferred, but not required)
    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (and with PowerPoint in particular)
    • Experience drafting and issuing press releases and other marketing materials
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask while meeting deadlines
    • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude
    • Familiarity with data cleansing and analysis tools preferred but not required
