Sterling Court in Saint George is hiring a Part Time Driver

Sterling Court is looking for a motivated, task-starter employee who enjoys working with the elderly.

Sterling Court is committed to a drug free workplace. This position will require a pre-employment drug testing as well as Motor Vehicle Report and background clearance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transport the residents and help coordinate the scheduling of transportation for their personal needs, such as doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, banking etc.
• Knowledge of California traffic and highway safety rules and regulations, and of the precautions necessary to avoid accidents. Should have the ability to operate a vehicle in a safe, calm and professional manner promoting a safe living environment. Should understand and carry out instructions independently and perform work requiring good physical condition.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories. Report all vehicle repairs, and/or any unsafe or hazardous situations immediately to the supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
a) Age 21 or older.
b) High School Diploma, GED or equivalency required.
d) Valid UT class D driver's license, clean driving record and ability to travel to assigned region as needed, often on short notice.
e) Compliance and understanding of fire and safety procedures.
f) Maintain current First Aid certification and CPR certification
g) Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English Language.
