Hata & Co., Limited is seeking new team members to join our transportation department We are an established, locally owned company seeking friendly and reliable route drivers.

Position Summary Description:

Pick up and deliver containers from various ports (Pasha, Matson, Young Brothers) and deliver to various warehouses, ports, and locations on the island of Oahu.

Safely operates various types of trucks and equipment including pallet jack and forklift. Must also conduct a pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.

The Yard Jockey will also serve as a back-up route driver. Route drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of food products to our various restaurant partners across Oahu.


Compensation:
Excellent earning opportunities starting at $27.00 per hour based on experience.
When assigned routes, eligible for our route pay and weekly bonus incentives.
When assigned routes, driver helpers are available based on CDL routes.
Electric pallet jacks provided.


Other Requirements:
Must possess a valid Commercial Drivers License (Class A).
Must possess a valid Medical Examiners Certificate (PUC Card).
Must possess a clean drivers history*.
Must be able to successfully complete in-house forklift certification test.


Physical Demands:
Frequently required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 80 lbs.
