Position Overview:
The Associate, Product Management and Sourcing generally oversees on one or two departments in partnership with a Manager or Director.
Performance requirements
Collaborate with leadership to execute product management & sourcing initiatives
- Support supplier relationships, assisting in negotiations, and contributing to cost-effective sourcing strategies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and streamline processes in the product development lifecycle.
- Assist in overseeing production timelines and troubleshooting issues to meet due dates.
- Contribute insights and recommendations to enhance sourcing strategies and product quality.
- Participate in supplier selection, qualification, and performance evaluation processes..
- Support the mentorship and development of junior team members.
- Provide administrative support to the Product Management and Sourcing teams as needed.
Work Experience and education requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in product management and sourcing, or related role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate, influence vendors, and collaborate cross functionally with internal & external partners
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
