    Description

    Responsibilities:


    • Managing development, quality control, and timely delivery of core and funded content assignments in both English and Spanish


    • Ensuring content is accurate, high quality, and adherent to company style guide


    • Facilitating editorial workflows using custom CMS and project management tools


    • Managing and editing assignments delegated to freelance writers


    • Collaborating with editorial, publishing, and medical review stakeholders to develop, publish, and optimize content efficiently and effectively


    • Serve as topline editor for Spanish content quality assurance, and lead development of Spanish content operations and style guide

    Required Skills

    ● Ability to translate complex medical information into plain language (in both English and Spanish) is an essential skill required for this position.

    ● 3-5 years' experience creating digital health and medical content for Spanish- and English-speaking consumer audiences

    Required Education

    Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related discipline

    Desired Skills

    -Exceptional editing skills and aptitude for diverse and detail-oriented assignments

    -Excellent time management and ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment

    -Commitment to content quality and ability to micro and macro edit effectively

    -Working knowledge of contemporary SEO best practices for YMYL content

    -Positive attitude under pressure and excellent interpersonal skills

    -Ability to work independently as well as collaborate as a cross-functional team member

    -Experience working with a CMS, project management tools, Microsoft Office and Google tools
