PRIMARY PURPOSE

As a Concrete Floor Grinding & Polishing Laborer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our technicians in preparing, grinding, and polishing concrete floors to achieve desired finishes. This position requires dedication, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Assist in preparing concrete surfaces for grinding and polishing by cleaning, repairing, and leveling as necessary.
• Support technicians in operating concrete grinding and polishing equipment, including grinders, polishers, and more.
• Learn to operate concrete grinding and polishing equipment under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Support the execution of grinding and polishing techniques to achieve desired surface flatness, smoothness, and gloss levels.
• Aid in the application of dyes, stains, and sealants to enhance the appearance and durability of polished concrete floors.
• Help monitor equipment performance and assist in troubleshooting technical issues to maintain operational efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks of injury and property damage.
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; willingness to learn and grow in the field of concrete polishing.
• Previous experience within the construction or flooring industry is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment effectively.
• Basic understanding of blueprints and technical drawings is a plus.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and materials, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites as requires.
