    The Everett Hospital Float Pool provides care with an emphasis on culturally sensitive, evidence based nursing practice.

    While regularly scheduled, the members of the float pool are deployed on a shift by shift to provide nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry, ICU and Geriatric Psychiatry units at Everett Hospital.

    The Nursing Assistant - Float Department- knows and understands the philosophy,
    objectives, policies and procedures of Nursing Service. The Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of the professional nurse. Knows, understands and displays the commitment to patients' excellence of care. Working with patients on the medical/surgical/telemetry, ICU, geriatric psychiatry and other departments as needed.
    AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider
    One year of previous experience as a nursing assistant
    Currently enrolled in a nursing program and have completed two cycles of clinical rotation
    Completion of an approved certified nursing assistant training program
