**Description**

The **Warehouse Safety and Onboarding Supervisor** is responsible for the successful onboarding and training of new employees. This position will play a vital role in driving key aspects of the onboarding processes, overseeing online training and compliance, and administration of Bunzls comprehensive environmental health and safety (EHS) program.
***Responsibilities:***
Facilitates comprehensive EHS safety program including online training and compliance for all employees, policies, and programs to train, support, and communicate safety as a cultural, core value
Implement schedules and conduct audits of pre & post shift inspections; coordinate branch equipment maintenance and repairs; ensure PPE replenishment
Facilitate the Bunzl onboarding program and EHS Policy Review booklet with new hires
Manage the accident investigations process utilizing root cause analysis, identifying hazards, and implementing solutions to address safety risks
Guide the development and execution of branch sustainability objectives; to include documenting waste, recycling, sustainability and proactively identifying opportunities
Verify that safety technology tools are used, results are examined, trend data is analyzed, and plans are developed to reduce and prevent safety incidents
Drive consistent safety culture throughout the branch; provide operational data to safety committee; create and customize branch safety communication
Oversee monthly Facility & OSHA inspections
Implement branch EHS audit program
Certify inspections by both internal and external parties are documented and deficiencies minimized and corrected
***Requirements:***
Must possess working knowledge of the following: Accident investigation and prevention; OSHA regulations
Proficient in MS Office products
Strong organizational and information management skills with emphasis on detail and record-keeping
Demonstrated ability to deliver training programs utilizing a variety of methods
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills capable of
Excellent interpersonal and observational skills with the ability identify branch training needs and assess the needs of trainees
Proven leadership results
Experience building and executing strategic plans
Safety and security management experience
Sustainability experience
Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus
