    Warehouse Operations Manager

    Responsibilities:



    • Warehouse Operations:


      • Assess and ensure appropriate warehouse staffing levels

      • Recruit, select, promote, manage, develop and terminate associates and operations supervisors

      • Manage relationships with on-site partner companies and analyze operational change concerns

      • Work with direct reports to develop and implement action plans to improve operating results

      • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team

      • Model the company strategy and communicate core values to create a sense of teamwork and membership among employees

      • Ensure 3rd party partner companies and vendors meet acceptable standards and a desirable working environment

      • Provide feedback and resolve issues with 3rd party partner companies and vendors

      • Work cooperatively with peers and divisional departments to communicate relevant information

      • Review and analyze the competitive landscape within the community

      • Coordinate with direct reports in recruitment and interviewing of applicants

      • Supervise warehouse personnel to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of day-to-day operations

      • Monitor inspections of inbound and outbound deliveries

      • Oversee and manage the performance of direct reports

      • Ensure equitable treatment of warehouse personnel

      • Address complaints promptly and appropriately

      • Supervise the use of warehouse facility to ensure maximum utilization of space and equipment

      • Oversee the achievement of warehouse controllable expenses

      • Oversee shipping plans and facilitate order changes as needed

      • Ensure direct reports monitor conditions, equipment, and employee performance

      • Review and analyze personnel's adherence to inventory procedures and policies

      • Oversee and manage compliance with established policies and procedures





    Requirements:



    • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


      • Consistently demonstrates ALDI Acts Competencies

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

      • Ability to recommend, interpret, and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures

      • Knowledge of products and services of the company

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Education and Experience:



    • High School Diploma or equivalent required

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred

    • At least 1 year experience in an ALDI management role required for internal candidates



    Physical Requirements:



    • Occasionally work in varying temperatures, hot and cold

    • Occasionally required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse

    • Occasionally required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights
