    The Sonoma Connect|Sonoma Unidos Resource Connection Network (RCN) is an integrated resource directory and will support communication, closed-loop referrals, and information sharing between organizations in Sonoma County. Sonoma Connect | Sonoma Unidos is a coalition of nonprofits and multi-sector partners leading development of a Community Information Exchange-model Network to prevent and heal Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma caused by Structural Drivers of Health. Two core strategies of Sonoma Connect include community-led shared technology (RCN) and racial equity capacity building.

    TOTAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE: Salary for this position is $54,000-67,000/per year, depending on experience. CAPS offers a generous benefits package available on the first day of the month after your date of hire that includes:

    • Medical insurance through Kaiser or Sutter 80-95% paid by the employer for employee premiums plus 50% paid by the employer for dependent coverage
    • Elective dental, vision insurance, FSA and Accident insurance.

    • 401(K) plan with 2% contribution and an additional 1% matched contribution after one year of service

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:
    Reporting to the RCN Network Manager, the RCN Network Coordinator will provide critical administrative and technical support to RCN Users and agency staff as part of the Community Action Partnership Operations team. The RCN Network Coordinator will provide training, communications, program implementation, and support to network users. The Network Coordinator will aid the Network Manager in the onboarding and long term maintenance of the RCN technology platform. The Network Coordinator works collaboratively with the Sonoma Connect/Sonoma Unidos (SCSU) backbone team in addition to other agency programs.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Duties include but are not limited to the following:
    • Work with the RCN Network Manager to create a fun, engaging, and rewarding usership experience for network partners and their staff.
    • Work with Network Manager to establish suitable strategies and objectives for onboarding of health centers and community partners into the Resource Connection Network.
    • Monitor and respond to technical support requests from the RCN users.
    • Communicate by email, establish and maintain healthy relationships with network partners, vendors, and industry contacts.
    • Prepare and send documents, solicit feedback, and incorporate edits.
    • Support data governance activities to ensure that NinePatch/Resource Connection Network platform is equity-focused and is compliant with state and national laws.
    • Help to design, deliver, and refine trainings on the topics of digital security, inter-agency referral culture, equitable data gathering and use, general technology literacy, etc.
    • Support project management tasks. Track internal and external deadlines, create templates, and coordinate with external partners. Maintain organized files and internal records.
    • Operations: Support technical aspects of a remote office, and virtual network collaboration, including mastering multiple video platforms, email platforms, office management platforms such as Google Workspace. As needed, provide logistics support to Action Team Co-chairs and partners of Community Action Partnership to host successful meetings.
    • Meeting support
    • Assist in various aspects of general administrative processes such as: purchasing, invoicing, expense tracking, office automation, customer service, public information, archiving of documents and other areas.
    • Plan and facilitate trainings as appropriate.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Preferred but not required:
      • Familiarity resource and referral platforms, including the governance of such platforms
      • Understanding of programs and grant lifecycles
      • Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish
      • Training, interest, or experience in Social Services, Population Health, Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging, Health or Community Information Exchange, and/or Cross-sector Data Sharing/Care Coordination
      • Knowledge of Sonoma County resources and communities

    • Prior to beginning work, must be able to pass a background check
    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor's Degree or comparable years of relevant experience in any of the following: non-profit, public health, information technology, informatics, data sharing/governance/compliance, social/health education, public policy, public administration, or related discipline
    • Project management methodology education or certification is a plus.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This is a hybrid position that operates both remotely and in a professional office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but also sometimes there's children present. Remote work must be conducted in a space conducive to safety and productivity, following all agency policies and procedures.
