    WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in Hartford, Connecticut.

    WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced  Post‑Anesthesia Nurse (PACU  RN) for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Hartford, CT.


    Job Function:  

    • Day Shift.
    • 5x8: 7:30am-4pm.
    • Provide individualized, emotionally supportive post‑operative nursing care  in accordance with  anesthesiologist and attending physician instructions.  
    • Monitor and document patient vital signs, airway status, pain level, and level of consciousness per  PACU  protocols.  
    • Assist  anesthesiologists and attending physicians during post‑operative recovery as needed.  
    • Document all nursing activities thoroughly, including writing a discharge note once the anesthesiologist clears the patient for transfer.  
    • Ensure  all  PACU  equipment and supplies are stocked, functional, and readily available.  
    • Maintain a safe environment and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.  

    Job Requirements:

    • EPIC experience required.

    • Level I trauma experience preferred.

    • BLS.

    • PALS.
