    Description

    Position Summary

    The Director of Operational Excellence will lead the transformation of business operations by fostering a culture of sustained performance enhancement. The ideal candidate must possess leadership qualities, business expertise, and strategic insights to challenge existing practices and steer organizational enhancements promoting operational excellence (OE).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop a strategic plan to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization
    • Establish, advocate, and guide continuous improvement (CI) teams by leveraging OE tools
    • Offer leadership, guidance, and training at all organizational levels on the practical implementation of OE training programs
    • Implement project management strategies to streamline processes and enhance performance, driving overall organizational efficiency
    • Create a project tracking system to evaluate the efficacy of continuous improvement initiatives

    Experience Requirements

    • Minimum of ten (10) years in sterile manufacturing and continuous improvement roles, with at least five (5) years of leadership experience
    • Background in strategic planning, project and change management, and operational excellence
    • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment
    • Results-driven problem-solver with a solid analytical mindset
    • Demonstrated expertise in lean processes and methodologies within a manufacturing setting (DMAIC, Standard Work, Kanban/Pull Systems, TPM, Kaizen, Problem Solving, 5S, Value Stream Mapping)

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a relevant field
    • Preferably Six Sigma or similar certifications
