    The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of our dermatology pharmaceutical company.

    Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will lead all financial functions, providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives, maximize profitability, and ensure financial stability.

    The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on strategic planning, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Strategy and Planning:
    Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's short-term and long-term goals.
    Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes to optimize resource allocation and drive growth initiatives.
    Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions to support business expansion and enhance shareholder value.


    Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
    Provide actionable insights to senior management and the board of directors to support decision-making processes.


    Risk Management and Compliance:
    Implement robust internal controls and risk management protocols to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Stay abreast of industry regulations and accounting standards to ensure adherence to best practices and mitigate financial risks.
    Collaborate with legal counsel and external auditors to address compliance issues and maintain transparency in financial reporting.


    Capital Management and Funding:
    Manage capital structure and liquidity to optimize financial performance and support operational needs.
    Evaluate financing options and debt/equity structures to fund strategic initiatives and capital expenditures.
    Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders to secure funding and support capital-raising efforts.


    Team Leadership and Development:
    Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
    Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, promoting professional growth and succession planning within the finance organization.
    Cultivate a high-performance culture that aligns with the company's values and objectives.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

    Proven track record of at least 10 years in finance leadership roles within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with specific experience in dermatology or related therapeutic areas.

    Strong understanding of financial management principles, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
    Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
    Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
