    Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.

    Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.

    15 Years experience with Bachelors of Science in Marine or Mechanical Engineering. Proficient in AutoCAD. Prior design experience or field experience with Marine Systems is required. 15+ years of experience minimum in Navy vessels Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC&R) systems design.

    Extensive knowledge in Navy military standards and specifications, as well as the commercial standards for Marine HVAC&R systems design and equipment, especially in compartments HVAC load calculations/analysis, HVAC duct pressure loss calculations, HVAC system diagrams.

    Responsibilities will include all aspects of marine engineering, design and integration of Marine HVAC Systems.
