    Job Description Job Description MANDATE FOR THE ROLEThis position partners with the Partner(s) to oversee the overall client relationship and engagement.

    This position manages day-to-day deliverables within Tax and manages efforts across the service lines; including tax, estates and trust, insurance and risk management, and philanthropy.

    KEY DIMENSIONSGenerate revenue from existing clients, i.e.

    identifying opportunities for expansion to include other service lines, evaluating and revising retainer agreements time and billing agreements, reviewing and evaluating works in progress, etc.

    Possess an understanding of the clients financial, business, and family goals, and is responsible for implementing strategies to achieve these goals.

    Management of client service team and coordination of efforts/projects across service lines. Responsible for implementation of projects, scheduling resources to provide day-to-day service and special projects.

    Coach and mentor staff and be a knowledgeable resource whose expertise provides a broader view beyond tax to identify and resolve complex issues.

    Collaborate with Partner(s) on all management decisions, such as revenue management, advice and consult to clients, staff and performance decisions, etc.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES Act as primary point of contact and relationship manager for client, family, and outside service providers. Manage outside service providers (e.g. attorneys, investment brokers, clients employees), including coordination of activities such as drafting documents for personal estate and entities, coordinating loan documents with lenders, and payroll for clients employees.

    Meet or exceed client expectations by demonstrating creativity in developing integrated solutions utilizing a broad range of services including tax, estates and trusts, insurance and risk management, and philanthropy.

    Ensure tax compliance (filings, extensions, review of tax returns for client and related entities) for accuracy on material issues. Successfully resolve through research and analysis complex tax issues and proactively discuss issues and alternatives with client.

    Manage existing client revenue through review of work in progress and preparation of billings for special projects/consulting services provided by the client.

    Manage complex engagements through the ability to schedule multiple tasks simultaneously in order to complete a deliverable in a timely manner.

    Develop internal and external (attorneys and brokers) networks to form strong working relationships with the goal of growing and generating new business opportunities and agreements.

    Proactively communicate and discuss impact of technical tax matters, and communicate to clients tax changes, implications, and potential impact to their financial strategies and goals.

    Identify new business opportunities from within current client accounts or relationships and encourage cross-selling among service lines.


    Knowledge:


    Bachelors degree in business or related field; Masters degree a plus.7-10 years experience working with individuals, fiduciary tax issues, investments, financial and estate planning, and philanthropy.
