    Description

    How You Will Make a Difference

    The Accounting Intern will gain hands on accounting experience with exposure to all aspects of the accounting cycle throughout their internship. This role will work closely with the Accounting team as well as cross-functionally with others in the organization. This is an in office role that requires coming into the Atlanta office 20 hours a week Monday - Thursday for 5 hours each day. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and is currently a junior or senior in college.

    In This Role, You'll Get To:

    • Participate in month-end close process
    • Post journal entries in QuickBooks for multiple entities
    • Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
    • Assist with weekly Accounts Payable
    • Assist with weekly Accounts Receivable
    • Assist with the annual audit process
    • Assist with financial reporting and analysis
    • Assist with special projects as needed

    This opportunity is for you if you have/are:

    • Pursuing a bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Accounting
    • Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
    • Advanced experience with MS Office, specifically Excel
    • Comfortable with technology
    • Quick leader
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude
    • Acute attention to detail
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines required in a fast-paced environment
