    The Assistant Stix Manager oversees the daily activity of employees engaged in preparing and serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with established standards and applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations. Ensures quality service to Resort guests and profitable operations. Duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Schedules and delegates work to the lounge and sports bar staff during all shifts.
    • Provides guidance and direction to lounge and sports bar staff.
    • Assists the Lounge Manager with hiring, developing and discipline of employees.
    • Ensures that guests receive prompt, cordial service at all times.
    • Responsible for ordering foodstuff, liquors, beers, wines, and other lounge or sports bar supplies in accordance with the warehouse and purchasing guidelines.
    • Inspects and observes lounge and sports bar employees and Resort guests to ensure compliance with occupational, health and safety standards, and observation of all liquor laws.
    • Assists and communicates with the lounge or sports bar staff to ensure smooth operations.
    • Executes monthly inventory and usage reports for Accounting and Food and Beverage Director.
    • Resolves any customer concerns and criticisms and considers suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior Resort service.
    • Establishes and monitors internal controls for the department. Maintains current and comprehensive knowledge of gaming laws, regulations, internal controls and Tribal Compact.
    • When necessary, coaches staff regarding inadequate work, behavior, or other performance problems. Takes remedial action when necessary following the established guidelines.
    • Assumes authority, accountability and responsibility for the direction of others. Serves as a role model and sets exemplary work standards. Acts as a resource person to department personnel.
    Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
    • 5 years experience in Food and Beverage administration, retail, or customer service field required.
    • Bartending and inventory experience required.
    • 21 years of age or older.
    • Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and customer relation skill.
    • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments at once.
    • Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate required.
    • Current OLCC License required.
    • Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
