Asphalt Raker Job

The primary role of an Asphalt Raker is to rake and spread materials such as asphalt, base, dirt or other substances to the correct grade and finish in parking lots, roads and driveways using a lute rake. Assist with the installation of new asphalt surfaces. Also assist with repairing existing asphalt surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Distribute materials by raking, smoothing and adjusting surface irregularities.
2. Restore surface finish, apply asphalt evenly to the proper grade, then compact before finishing.
3. Maintain uniformity in freshly made paving joints by matching them equally well.

Requirements (Experience & Qualifications):

• A minimum age requirement of 18 years old applies.
• Candidates must pass pre-employment screening including criminal background checks prior to employment consideration.
• Prior experience working within construction or a related field preferably as an asphalt laborer or flagger would be beneficial for this position,Familiarity with traffic regulations should also be possessed!Physical Demands -Betweenutmmm(JnoteFTtent shtulia=)
