LOD is urgently seeking a part-time civil litigation Case Manager for a REMOTE contract assignment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. The successful candidate profile is a high-level litigation paralegal with experience in civil litigation and in-house experience managing litigation and pre-suit claims

Responsibilities

• Legal fact and basic legal research
• Assist with case management
• Organize and electronically file pleadings
• Coordinate and schedule calendars
• Receive and draft responses to discovery requests
• Draft and review other routine legal documents
• General Case Management - monitoring junior-level paralegals, ensuring deadlines are met, maintaining open lines of communication with in-house attorneys and outside counsel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5+ years as a Civil Litigation Paralegal
• Case Management experience highly desired
• Overtime not anticipated
• Experience with lemon law, experience in the automotive industry, and experience with California litigation all highly desired.

LOD offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate's general skill set, applicability of candidate skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
