- Perform day-to-day activities as directed by Purchasing Manager
- Assist in equipment moves.
- Unload, sort and store materials returned from job locations.
- Load job materials on truck for delivery to job locations.
- Dispose of obsolete materials.
- Transport job materials to job locations.
- Use of hand tools to perform carpentry work.
- Clean up tools returned from job locations.
- Maintain company buildings and grounds.
- OSHA 10 Hour Training provided on site.
- Forklift Training provided on site.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing and have good public relation skills
- Good organizational skills
- Consistently demonstrate the ability to recognize and deal with priorities
- Light carpentry skills
- Must have a valid driver's license

Shop Associate
William Charles Construction is in search for an Shop Associate Civil Construction Yard within the Springfield, IL & surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
While performing the functions of this job, the employee will regularly work in a shop/yard environment but will also be required to work outside in all kinds of weather.
