    Description

    Occupational Therapists are invited to consider an exceptional part-time role with Liberty Healthcare at the Delaware Psychiatric Center.

    The Delaware Psychiatric Center offers a range of inpatient and integrated services to adults facing mental health challenges, while honoring each individual's uniqueness, dignity, and well-being.

    Situated in New Castle, approximately 15 minutes south of Wilmington, the Center is conveniently accessible via I-95, I-295, and the Delaware Memorial Bridge.

    As an Occupational Therapist with Liberty Healthcare, your duties will include:

    • Administering occupational therapy to clients at the Delaware Psychiatric Center
    • Serving adult and older adult individuals coping with physical disabilities and mental health conditions
    • Evaluating clients' capabilities for daily living activities
    • Recording client advancements and services promptly
    • Training and supervising therapy aides
    • Participating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings with Physicians, Physical Therapists, Social Workers, Psychologists, Registered Nurses, and other clinical and support staff
    • Assisting clients in their readiness for discharge from the Center

    As a part-time staff member at Liberty Healthcare, you will receive a compensation of $55.00 per hour (no invoicing required).

    You will benefit from a flexible part-time timetable, ranging from 20 to 25 hours per week.

    You may work any weekday between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm.

    You are a suitable candidate for this role if you hold a professional Occupational Therapist license in Delaware and share Liberty Healthcare's dedication to delivering top-notch therapy services to individuals dealing with disabilities and mental health issues.
