Job summary
To provide educational instruction for the Domestic Violence Center, Domestic Violence Housing Program, and/or Children's Center.This position is responsible for providing a safe, structured, educational environment in a therapeutic setting. This position will help plan and facilitate educational activities for youth and families residing at the Domestic Violence Center,
Children's Center or Domestic Violence Housing Program.
In addition this position will assist in providing support and advocacy to clients as needed Coordinates with schools to best serve clients Documents client information in Progress Notes Completes the Learning Center summary on each youth following discharge
and puts it into their file Facilitates lesson plans developed by Curriculum Specialist Provides support in youth development activities Coordinates client/volunteer interaction
and activities Assures that Learning Center is clean orderly
and ready for clients Serves as liaison between Synergy Emergency Shelter's
and School District of residents as needed Communicates concerns regarding volunteers
