- Ability to use Inventor efficiently without supervision, creating models/dxf/shop drawings a necessity, as well as familiar with metal fabrication, kerf and bend allowances.
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems and procedures.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work well with others from a variety of occupational backgrounds.
- Punctuality and reliability.Responsibilities
- Assist manufacturing operations on site.
- Ensure proper tooling and equipment needed are available to perform work.
- Ensure proper files and documents are available pertaining to specifications of finished goods.
- Troubleshoot problems brought up by manufacturing staff.
- Design specialized tooling and fixturing required to perform work.
- Review work orders.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and report them to Operations Manager.
- Compile project data for review by Operations Manager.
- Process Engineering Change Request forms submitted to Engineering Department.
- Work with Estimator to ensure accurate quoting of new business.
- Generate Engineering Change Notices.
- Assist or fill in for Quality Staff as required.
- Complete other related duties as assigned by Engineering Manager.
- This is a 1st shift position, and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm. Overtime as needed. This schedule provides a stable routine for work-life balance.
- Competitive pay starting at $20 - $30 per hour. Actual pay will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and expertise.
- This is a Temp to Perm position, offering a potential long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
