    Position Summary

    Therole of the Program Manager, underthedirection of the Executive Director,is to plan, coordinate, and directthe management and supervision of all program operations and toprovide leadership and consultwith staff on personnel issues.

    Essential JobDuties
    • Manage and oversee all program operations in the absence of the Executive Director,
    • Manage all Institute administrative and human resource systems in aneffective and efficient manner,
    • Provide general supervision and evaluation to program managers and advise them in the planning, organization, and implementation of school operations,
    • Direct and coordinate the supervision and evaluation of program personnel,
    • Assist in the recruitment, screening, andplacement of program personnel,
    • Act as Executive Director's Designee in response to formal complaints against program personnel,
    • assist in policy development,
    • Work directly with contracting agencies in communicating program policies, rules and regulations,
    • Collaborates with the Director and DJJ in oversight contract to include: student intake, discipline, transfer and or release andgeneral reporting requirements,
    • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
    Minimum Education, Training and Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education or related field; supplemented by a minimum of one (1) year of experience within an educational or youth service program, preferably working with troubled youth in a treatment program; or any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.,
    • Obtainand maintain appropriate crisis intervention and physical restraint training and certification as defined by state requirements,
    • Obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification by nationally recognized organization,
    • Must possess and maintain valid driver's license in the state of employment; may be required to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsement.
