    Responsibilities
    The A/R Billing Specialist - Patient Accounts Representative works on processing claims, organizing details, setting priorities, and communicating effectively. This position is based onsite in Boise, Idaho.

    A/R Billing Specialist/ Patient Accounts Representative Responsibilities:

    • Ensure thorough A/R evaluation and effective appeals generation.
    • Meet productivity requirements with timely claim resolution and follow-up.
    • Resolve issues proactively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
    • Maintain professional standards in interactions with patients, guarantors, and insurance representatives.
    • Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
    • Handle communication to minimize conflicts.

    Qualifications

    Billing Specialist/ Patient Accounts Representative Requirements:

    • CPC Certification preferred.
    • Proficiency in ICD, CPT, and HCPC codes with experience in claim creation and denial resolution.
    • High school diploma with prior hospital insurance billing and collection experience.
    • Understanding of medical insurance contracts, third-party billing, and workman's compensation claims.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and adherence to industry best practices.
    • Contribution to departmental growth and health.
