    Join Our Team and Shape the Future of Air Travel

    The Payloads organization at Commercial Aircraft is looking for experienced Senior Engineers to join us in Everett, WA or Renton, WA. We are responsible for everything inside and outside the airplane that ensures a safe and enjoyable flight. We play a crucial role in how airlines deliver their services and shape the passenger's flight experience. Our work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, bringing together diverse engineering backgrounds. As a Senior Engineer, you will work across the product lifecycle, collaborating with various teams to deliver top-notch interior products for the industry.

    Key Requirements:

    • Experience in engineering support and project leadership
    • Previous involvement with aerospace suppliers or airlines
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
    • Design expertise in manufacturing processes
    • Experience in aircraft cargo compartment design and certification

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Developing and documenting interior payload system requirements
    • Overseeing analyses and test results for system validation
    • Managing supplier performance and optimizing designs
    • Exploring new technologies for future product designs
    • Creating and modifying interior system designs using CAD tools

    This position requires 100% onsite work in Everett, WA or Renton, WA and compliance with Export Control regulations.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering
    • Minimum 9 years of engineering experience
    • Leadership experience in cross-functional teams

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with FAA Title 14 Part 25 or EASA equivalent
    • Background in aerospace interiors and design processes
    • 5+ years of program or project management experience
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
    • Effective communication skills for diverse audiences
    • Commitment to continuous learning and development

    Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related field with relevant experience
