+ Serve as liaison to surgeons in service line specialty
+ Review schedule two weeks in advance to ensure appropriate resources are available
+ Maintain control of specialty equipment and supplies
+ Promote effective resource utilization related to clinical practice+ Provide leadership in the delivery of patient care for the unit as demonstrated by assisting staff in establishing priorities for patient care needs.+ Serve as a resource for interpretation of regulatory requirements.
+ Assume key functions in implementation of P&P of nursing division,
