Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an Engineering Manager with 10+ years' experience in upstream and midstream oil and gas facilities and processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for expansion of the team.
Identify project opportunities and winning work.
Build and establish relationships with new and existing clients.
Interact and communicate effectively with direct reports, team members, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other consultants.
Set realistic expectations and ensure assigned projects are completed according to schedule and within budget.
Ensure that projects assigned to direct reports and team members are completed according to schedule and within budget.
Adhere to and ensure that all team members are in adherence to company quality standards and follow engineering checking and approval procedures.
Responsible for ensuring the overall quality and technical accuracy associated with deliverables produced by all team members.
Oversee adherence to safe design practices, while focusing on identifying cost saving opportunities.
Plan and manage workload, budgets, and project resources, requesting assistance, as necessary.
Assist in and coordinate the development of internal design guidelines, specifications, and design control procedures.
Assess feasibility of projects by assessing materials, costs, and time requirements, applying knowledge and techniques of engineering and advanced mathematics.
Prepare or direct the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, and/or construction schedules for projects.
Analyze and examine different strategies, equations, and applications to ensure appropriate procedures are applied and/or utilized. Resolve design and development issues.
Manage client relationships and develop repeat business opportunities.
Compile discipline-specific man-hour estimates, and Total Installed Cost estimates based on client provided project.

Basic
A bachelor's degree in engineering.

Work is usually done outdoors and sometimes at a client facility or job site and is frequently performed in inclement and/or extreme weather conditions.
