Minimum 1 Year Experience
Needs Strong Cardiac/Post-op heart experience
Level 1 or Level II Trauma Experience, Telemetry, IV Start, and Cardiac Drips - Titrate
BLS
ACLS

May be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU)
COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses. Declinations will not be accepted; however medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note provided

ICU, PCU and M/S Peds and Adult RNs residing in the state of Indiana are considered local

OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract*** Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need*** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.Certification Requirements: ACLS and BCLSSkillset Requirements: Minimum 1 Year Experience, Level 1 or Level II Trauma Experience, Telemetry, IV Start, and Cardiac Drips - TitrateFloating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist HospitalsStaffing Ratios: 1:3-5 Based on AcuityUnit Information: Post Cardiac Surgery, Post Vascular Surgery - NEEDS STRONG CARDIAC/Post-op heart experience
