You will work closely with property owners and building tenants to coordinate construction activities, create and maintain construction schedules, and ensure that projects remain on track and within budget.

Foreman Responsibilities Include:

· Overseeing daily operations at the worksite to ensure project completion safely and efficiently.

· Hiring construction workers and trade professionals for specific tasks.

· Monitoring budget expenses for labor, supplies, and tools.

· Reviewing laws and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

· Coordinating daily tasks based on priorities and plans, adjusting for weather, supply, delivery, and personnel changes.

· Delegating responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors.

· Recruiting, hiring, training, managing, and mentoring employees and contractors.

· Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, legal requirements, best practices, and safety needs.

· Emphasizing the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment, and providing training on safety

The key responsibilities include:

· Reading Project Plans: Interpret and understand project plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints to guide the construction process effectively.

· Scheduling and Attendance: Create and manage work schedules, monitoring crew attendance to ensure adequate staffing for project needs.

· Site Supervision: Oversee construction sites, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with project specifications.

· Task Delegation: Allocate responsibilities and tasks to crew members, contractors, and other workers based on project priorities and plans.

· Safety Enforcement: Emphasize the safe use of tools and equipment, enforcing the proper use of safety gear such as helmets and goggles.

· Resource Management: Ensure that manpower and resources are adequate to meet project demands and timelines.

· Quality Assurance: Guarantee that all safety precautions and quality standards are adhered to throughout the construction process.

· Machinery Oversight: Supervise the use of machinery and equipment, ensuring they are operated safely and efficiently.

· Budget Monitoring: Monitor project expenditure to ensure it remains within budgetary constraints.

· Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site promptly and effectively.

· Progress Reporting: Regularly report on project status to managers, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders, providing updates on progress and any challenges encountered.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

· Adhere to all OSHA and safety standards and guidelines.

· Minimum age requirement of 21 years.

· Willingness to travel Monday through Friday.

· Commitment to maintaining industry safety standards.

· Basic first aid/CPR and OSHA 10 certification preferred.

· Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license.

· Physical capability to squat, stretch, bend, and lift up to 70 lbs; must be physically fit.

· Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and a proactive mindset.

· Proficient in safely operating and inspecting required power and hand tools.

· Successful completion of employment verification, criminal background check, and drug screening.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred for certain positions.

· 2-3 years of supervisory or foreman experience in relevant fields.

· Minimum of 5 years of excavator operator experience for specific roles.

· Ability to pass drug and background screenings.

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Physical ability to work in a construction environment for extended periods, including lifting up to 80 lbs, bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching.

· Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

· Capability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift moderate to heavy loads.

· Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.

Education and Training Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED; an associate degree in a relevant field is often preferred.

· Experience as an apprentice or construction worker is advantageous.

· Coursework in mathematics, computer skills, welding, industrial technology, and agricultural mechanics is beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications:
