    Description

    Human Resource Summer Intern

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven HR intern to join our HR team The HR intern's responsibilities include updating employee absence records, filing HR documents, initiating background checks on shortlisted candidates, and providing suitable recommendations to improve HR policies.

    This role provides valuable hands-on experience in HR processes, allowing interns to gain a comprehensive understanding of HR functions and contribute to the smooth operation of the department. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in HR operations and gain insight into our company's approach to payroll, recruiting, and employee development.

    Responsibilities

    • File and organize the employee file room.
    • Confirm candidates' availability and schedule interviews.
    • Gathers and organizes job applications.
    • Administration and organization of job applications
    • Post, update, and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks.
    • Prepare HR-related reports as needed (like training budgets by department)
    • Writes employee communications and correspondence about updates in HR policies.
    • Assists with overall compliance with labor codes and applicable local and state laws.
    • Participates and assists in career days and company social and networking events.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • 18+ years or older
    • Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferred course of study to include Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, or related.
    • in MS Office
    • Proficient professional work ethic.
    • Maintain flexible work schedule.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
