job summary:
A Loads and Dynamics Engineer is needed for a multinational aerospace corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, and telecommunications equipment in the Long Beach, CA (hybrid) area. This role conducts analysis, supports testing, documents results, investigates failures, and suggests improvements, preferring candidates with aircraft experience and programming skills in languages like FORTRAN and SQL.

responsibilities:

Perform basic structural analysis using established tools.
Support test execution and analyze and report test results.
Define and document certification and test results for regulatory compliance.
Investigate failures of in-service products and propose improvements.
Work under general supervision.

Skills:

Engineering materials analysis.
Numerical data analysis.
Aircraft stability & control, flying qualities.
Engineering programming languages.
Report authoring/documentation.

Desired Skills:

Aircraft operation experience.
Proficiency in FORTRAN, SQL languages.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3 years' experience, or a Master's Degree in Engineering.
Experience with engineering programming languages such as C++, SQL, FORTRAN.
