The Staff Pharmacist role at our mail order pharmacy is a crucial position that involves the safe and efficient dispensing of prescription medications through mail order services.

This position requires accurately verifying and filling prescriptions, providing pharmaceutical counseling to patients, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Care and Counseling

• Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Provide medication counseling to patients on dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Address patients' questions regarding their medications with empathy and compassion.

1. Medication Management

• Manage medication inventory with resourcefulness, including ordering, receiving, and restocking.
• Monitor medication storage conditions to ensure stability and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to maintain the highest standards of care.

• Stay up-to-date with federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and prescribers to resolve medication-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Valid licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Texas.
• Maintain education and certifications as required by applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
