Automation Engineer (VRA, Puppet)

Remote, EST timezone

6+Month Contract


Overview:

Client is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer proficient in VRA, Puppet, and Saltstack for a remote position in the EST timezone.

This role involves implementing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code solutions and collaborating with various technical teams.


Responsibilities:
Install, configure, upgrade, and administer Puppet, vRA, vRO, and Saltstack.

Develop, test, and implement infrastructure-as-code using PowerShell, JavaScript, bash, YAML, REST APIs, JSON, Python, and Ruby.

Manage code using GitHub and Azure DevOps.

Gather requirements from technical towers and troubleshoot automation pipeline issues.

Interface with ServiceNow support teams to integrate automation artifacts.

Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution.

Utilize knowledge of server and database administration for better understanding of requirements.

Interface with Infoblox and CyberArk for automation needs.


Requirements:
Expertise in Puppet, vRA, vRO, and Saltstack.

Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code development.

Experience with PowerShell, JavaScript, bash, YAML, REST APIs, JSON, Python, and Ruby.

Familiarity with GitHub and Azure DevOps.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.

Knowledge of server and database administration.

Familiarity with Infoblox and CyberArk.
