    Opportunity:

    CT Technologist - CT Tech

    Job Details:


    • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

    • Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend

    • Holiday coverage required based on facility needs

    • 1:1 patient ratio

    • One week orientation on day shift to learn facility flow

    • Schedule released every 4 weeks with time off requests requiring manager approval

    • Minimum 2 years CT experience required - first-time travelers not accepted

    • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, IEMA (Illinois license)

    • EPIC charting system experience required

    • Work with GE & Phillips equipment

    • Handle adult and pediatric patients including stroke, CTA, biopsies, drains, calcium scoring, cardiac, abdomen, pelvis, head, chest, extremities, and general anatomy

    • Level 1 trauma experience required

    • IV start experience preferred

    • May float to inpatient imaging center with possible mid-shift floating

    • Scrub color requirement: Caribbean blue with no logos, camo, or denim

    This healthcare facility is a 749-bed Level 1 Trauma Center with Magnet designation and serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The CT department features 2 outpatient rooms and 5 inpatient rooms, providing comprehensive imaging services for a diverse patient population. The facility offers 24/7 support including respiratory therapy, hospitalist coverage, and code blue/rapid response teams, ensuring high-quality patient care around the clock.
