    United Plastic Fabricating is the industry leader in the manufacture of plastic water tanks for the fire industry. In addition, we design and manufacture a variety of products for the industrial and transportation markets.
    Plans, implements and maintains activities concerned with the development, application and maintenance of quality processes, materials and products.

    Supervises the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the accuracy and reliability of company products.

    Establish programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of product testing.

    Devise sampling procedures and design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, auditing and reporting quality and reliability data.

    Supervise Standards Engineers engaged in tracking, analyzing and reporting quality measures, including but not limited to trailing cost reports, water test reports, product and process reports and cost of quality.

    Plan, promote, and organize manufacturing/quality training activities related to product quality and reliability.

    Compile and write manufacturing/quality instructions, such as training instructions, quality reminders, and quality control notices (QCNs) and conduct training sessions as required.

    Interface with customers as required to resolve quality problems; including defective product, surveys and audits.
    Assist in the preparation of ISO Management Reviews, issuing management review summary reports and external surveillance audit activities.
    Travel to other facilities and customers as required. Requirements B.S. Engineering degree (mechanical, industrial)3 to 5 years of experience managing a quality teamStrong LEAN experience.
    Must be a hands-on with strong communication and computer skills.
    Strong analytical skillsEffective written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills.
    Effective ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
